4 year Bachelor of Ministry curriculum and the 2 year Associate
of Arts curriculum.
Short descriptions of the first and second year courses are listed below.
First Year Course Descriptions
OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY 4 Credits Hours
This survey gives you the information needed to fully comprehend the truths
presented in our Bible. Its non-technical style will provide concise facts
on who, what, where, when, and why the Bible was written.
PENTATEUCH (Gen-Deut.)2CR OLD TESTAMENT HISTORY

The study focuses on the first 5 books of the Old Testament and covers some
of the most basic truths, which serve as the foundation of our New
Testament Faith.
LIFE OF CHRIST 3 Credits Hours
The details gleaned from the Bible concerning the life of Christ are often
sketchy. In this stupendous study, the author presents the details
systematically and in a lucid, clear, and comprehensible style. The book is
designed no only for individual study, but also for groups as well. The
study guide offers a complete do-it yourself Bible study course that
surpasses other works in presenting a bird's eye view of the four Gospels.

PHILOSOPHY OF CROSS 3 Credits Hours
A detailed study of the provisions of the cross which form the foundation
for our salvation experience and sanctification.
DEEPER LIFE & PRACTICAL EVANGELISM 3 Credits Hours
Every believer needs to have a "deeper life" in the Spirit.
Various aspects are discussed such as knowing God, spiritual duties,
humility, and the shaping of one's character. The second part of the study
prepares the believer to be a "Soul Winner". There are
suggestions and methods discussed. A simple "how to" get started
section is included, along with topics and questions for study and
discussion. Prepares the believer to be humble, dynamic, and equipped to
reach all classes of people with the "Good News".
PUBLIC SPEAKING 4 Credits Hours
This course will give every speaker the tools necessary to deliver a clear,
concise and effective message. It will explain the importance of grammar,
posture, expression, tone, etc. in conveying a message to your listeners.
ACTS 4 Credits Hours
Covers the establishment and mission of the New Testament Church,
emphasizing dependency on the Holy Spirit. This study is exegetical rather
than homiletic. Discusses the theology of Acts, the purpose of God in
history, the missions and the message, historical background, Luke's
motivation for writing, and Luke's view of Paul.
HERMENEUTICS 4 Credits Hours
This study will help Bible students, ministers, young and old alike learn
to study Scripture conveniently. Presents solid principles of Bible
interpretation and the necessary tools for "rightly dividing the
Word."
FOREIGN MISSIONS I 4 Credits Hours
A complete study in Foreign Missions. It discusses the "Means"
and history of missions, the methods of the local church, and how to
qualify missionaries and gain the manpower needed to go into all the world with the Gospel.
SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY 4 Credits Hours
Pentecostals are now awaiting what is believed to be a new outbreak of
God's grace across the face of the earth, this study will prepare the
student for the rise of the third wave and mightier outpouring of God's
blessings. This course systematically examines the Doctrines of the
Scripture, God, man, sin, salvation, the Holy Spirit, Divine healing, the
Church, and angels.
RELIGIOUS CULTS 4 Credits Hours
Explains the meaning of "cult". Gives the history, theology, and
methods of cult evangelism, explains its dangers and the growth potential
of religious cults. An update is given concerning the cults on the world
mission fields. Expresses the need for sound evangelical education and
training in the local church that will equip the Saints to combat the
spread of false theology and cultism.
Second Year Course Description
POETICAL BOOKS / MAJOR & MINOR PROPHETS
Biblically based study of the purpose, essence, background, and subject
matters of Job, Psalms, Song of Solomon, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. The
second part of this study focuses on the major and minor prophets. Their
disciplines, ideas, and purposes are clearly and accurately explained.
GENERAL EPISTLES / HEBREWS
These epistles have a special significance for the believer, because they
deal with the real problems we face today and the faith to continue our
walk with Jesus.
HOMILETICS I
This is a practical study that prepares the minister to preach the Word. Presented
in a simple and concise manner, the author guides the preacher step by step
through making an outline, and developing and delivering a sermon.
SUNDAY SCHOOL METHODS & MATERIALS
A preview of the original and modern Sunday School. The methods, aims, and
principles are considered. Qualifications, duties, and training of leaders
are taught. In an age that has abandoned the Sunday School ideal, this
course challenges the lethargy in the American churches.
BASIC GREEK
Because of the complexity of learning Greek, this basic study explores the
root meaning of key words and subsequent application in the interpretation
of scriptures in light of these. This study includes an accompanying video
tape featuring our own professor to assist the Greek student in this basic
study.
FOREIGN MISSIONS II
Detailed study of the basics of world wide missions, the personal aspects
of missions, and the missionary principles, beginning with God's purpose
for the Universal church, the apostolic pattern, the NT development of
local churches, and the "High calling" of God.
CHRISTIAN COUNSELING I
This study will equip the pastor, teacher, or any lay person with the basic
counseling techniques to assist others n dealing with life's various
situations.
PAULINE EPISTLES (ROMANS-PHIL.) PASTORAL EPISTLES
The first part of this study explains who Paul was, his birth place,
education, character, etc. are all detailed. All of Paul's letters, from
Romans through Philemon, are outlined and explained. Part two focuses on
the Pastoral letters of Paul, which inform the pastor of church doctrines,
church order, spiritual duties and also warnings and exhortations.
PASTORAL THEOLOGY
An excellent study concerning the Pastor and his God, his church, pulpit,
himself and his friends. Many tips on "How to excel as a pastor".
Part two examines pastoral activities such as funerals, marriages, counselling, hospital visitations, and a code of
ethics. Also discussed is the increase of legal traps and how to avoid
them.
APOLOGETICS
You must, as a believer in Christ, know where you stand and why. This study
of Apologetics will give you that foundation, and present with great power,
hundreds of historical evidences which validate the teachings of the
Christian faith.
